Phil Morris-Jones MBE (or Philjo as he is known to a great many people) served on both Telford & Wrekin Council and Wellington Town Council for many years.

Phil is well known as the former owner of Philjo Motors, the taxi firm that he started from scratch in Wellington in 1965 and later expanded with coaches and self-drive hire vehicles.

These days Phil devotes much of his spare time to the Orbit independent cinema and arts centre in Wellington where he is Chairman.
