Common sense has prevailed on the Labour controlled Wellington Town Council.  There is relief all round amongst the traders in Market Street after the consultation, when it was agreed not to proceed with pedestrianisation. 

However, if Labour councillors had listened to the traders in the first place the expense of the consultation could have been avoided.
