The news that the Princess of Wales is undergoing treatment for cancer came as a shock to us all and all of us at Wrekin Conservative Association wish her a full and speedy recovery.

Choosing to personally inform the nation of this very private matter was incredibly brave and will inspire many people who are living with cancer.

We hope that the media who have hounded her for months with speculation about her health and lately with ridiculous faux outrage about her editing a family a photo will now give her and her family the privacy that she has asked for.
